13-19 February marks Random Acts of Kindness week, with World Random Acts of Kindness Day falling on February 17th.
A beautiful sentiment, RAK Day aims to inspire us to try little gestures of gratitude and let them become the norm.
The organisation provides many ideas on where to start, as well as resources for kids and educators.
Some of our favourite ideas include:
- pay forward a coffee for a stranger
- pick flowers for a friend or family member
- compliment a coworker
- run errands for someone
- buy local
- plant a tree
- start a fundraiser
- get involved in a community event
- teach children about small acts of kindness, use their colouring in templates to help with this!
